The choices stay with the dish.

Extra basil. A different side. A note for the chef. The details taken at the till appear beneath the item, where the person making it can read them.

Ticket headers turn amber, then red as time passes. Set the thresholds for each station, so a coffee and a cooked lunch don’t follow the same clock.

Clear it.
Or bring it back.

Tap to complete a ticket when it’s ready. If it was cleared too soon, recall it from the station’s history. You choose how long completed tickets stay available.

Questions and answers.

Do I need a separate app or a particular tablet?

The kitchen display opens in a web browser using a secure link for that screen. Check your tablet and browser with us before buying equipment or fitting mounts.

Can the kitchen and bar see different items?

Yes. Assign each item to its preparation station. An item can appear at several stations. With one preparation station, all items route there automatically.

Can I see the complete order at the pass?

Yes. A pass screen shows the complete order. Preparation screens show the items assigned to their station, so each team has its own view.

Can I bring back a completed ticket?

Yes. Recall it from the station’s history. Each station has its own recall window, set to 30 minutes by default. You can change that setting.

What happens if the connection drops?

The browser screen keeps its last received tickets while it retries the connection. It needs a connection to receive new orders.

Can the kitchen receive orders by course?

Course controls need to be enabled separately for your setup. Tell us how you call starters, mains and desserts when discussing your setup.
