Your customer will open their own payment page

Payment Links is planned for purchases agreed directly with a customer. They’ll open the link and pay on their own phone or computer.

After a call

You’ll be able to text or email the link once you’ve confirmed the order. The customer won’t need to visit your counter to pay.

During a message exchange

Keep the order details in your email or WhatsApp conversation. You’ll share the link when the amount is agreed.

Put the order details beside the link

The message around a payment link gives your customer the context. Explain what the amount covers before asking them to pay.

What they’re buying

Include the items and any choices you’ve settled, such as size, colour or a catering menu.

How they’ll receive it

Agree collection or delivery with your customer. Include those arrangements in the message so they know what happens after payment.

Send an itemised bill, put your products online or take payment on your website.

Can I use Payment Links now?

Payment Links is planned for Tillable. Tell us how you’d use it and we can talk through your current options for taking payment online.

How will I send a payment link?

You’ll be able to share a link by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Use the conversation where you’ve already agreed the order.

What will my customer need to do?

They’ll open the link on their phone or computer and pay online. They won’t need to visit your counter to make that payment.

How is a payment link different from an invoice?

An invoice sets out what you’re charging for in a bill the customer can keep. A payment link will give them somewhere to pay an agreed amount.

What will Payment Links cost?

Included with Plus and Enterprise. Payments cost 2.4% + 20p per transaction, excluding VAT. Payment Links is planned and isn’t available to use yet.
