Ordering and Ordered
Ordering shows the round you’re adding. Ordered shows everything already sent, including rounds from other devices. Each has its own item count and total.
Orders, payments, table service and device settings, working together on one point of sale.
Categories, products and the running order, all on one screen.
Ordering shows the round you’re adding. Ordered shows everything already sent, including rounds from other devices. Each has its own item count and total.
Categories sit on the left, products in the middle and the order on the right. Staff can add products while keeping the order in view.
Change the quantity on the order line, or tap the item to reopen its options. Swipe to remove it, or use Remove. Quantities run from 1 to 99, so a round of 12 fits on one line.
Enter an amount on the handheld, then tap Charge to take a card payment. You don’t need to build an itemised order.
Choose Half pint or 175ml, then tap the drink to use that size’s price. The size key resets after each drink.
Show your product photos, cropped to a consistent shape. Choose plain tiles to fit more products on screen, with a price on each tile.
Card, cash and tips, on whichever screen your staff are holding.
Contactless, chip and PIN, Apple Pay or Google Pay on the handheld's built-in reader. The sale is recorded exactly once against the order, and the card scheme prints on the receipt.
The till has no built-in card reader. Tap Pay with card to send the amount to a free terminal. The till selects the only available terminal, or lets staff choose when several are free.
Enter the cash handed over, or use the exact-amount shortcut. The change stays on screen after confirmation. Cash received and change given both print on the receipt.
Each terminal takes one bill at a time. The till only sends bills to terminals at the same site. If no terminal accepts the bill, the till stops waiting and explains why.
The terminal records tips during payment, separately from your takings. They appear on their own line in the end-of-day report.
Live with selected venues now, rolling out wider. See the floor plan and every open tab on the full-size till.
Occupied tables are green; free tables are white. Each tile shows the table name and seat count. Tap a table for its details.
The till opens the floor plan you made in the back office. Tables keep their positions, shapes and angles, alongside bars, counters, stools, walls and doors. Fixtures appear in grey and cannot open a tab.
See dine-in, bar and takeaway tabs together, with search, filters and a live count. Choose large tiles or a compact list.
Give each room, floor or terrace a named plan. Staff tap the tabs at the top to switch plans. Each till sees only its own site’s plans.
On a wide till, the floor plan takes around three quarters of the screen. Today’s bookings appear beside it in the remaining space.
Choose which details appear on each open-tab card and arrange them in the back office. Save layouts for different services and apply them across your tills.
Keep orders available and sales records queued while the connection recovers.
Every retry carries the same reference from the moment the card is presented, and the database enforces it. A flaky connection cannot bill a customer twice.
If a sale cannot upload first time, the device keeps trying on its own. It waits about 4 seconds, then backs off to at most every 32, until the queue is clear.
If a crash or flat battery stops the card reader returning a result, Tillable keeps the sale for review. It is flagged within 90 seconds against the shift when it happened.
If the connection drops, the till keeps its saved floor plan, open tabs and menu on screen. Staff can keep taking orders.
If the server rejects a sales record, it stays on the device and is flagged for review. Records from all six rejection types are retained.
If a sales record fails to upload without a visible alert for your team, the record is kept and Tillable support is notified automatically.
Choose from four operating modes and adjust the settings for each device.
A device mode controls which screens and actions appear. Your counter till and restaurant till can run side by side with different settings.
Every device ships with four ways to work: a standard counter, a bar with open tabs, a restaurant with tables and a connected pay-at-counter setup.
Require a manager PIN to open the cash drawer, pause the kitchen, view reports or print from the till’s top bar. Tillable checks the PIN against the server; it is not stored on the device.
Change a mode in the back office and your devices receive it automatically. You don’t need to restart or pair them again.
Choose a photo, animation, video or web page for the idle screen. The first touch returns staff to where they left off.
Manage your menus, choose how to take payment and give customers somewhere to shop online.

It sends the amount to a terminal at the same site. The full-size till has no built-in card reader.
Card payments need a working connection. The handheld can use mobile data if your site’s network fails. Sales records wait on the device to upload.

You can import products from a spreadsheet in the back office. Tillable shows what will be created before you save.
